Extract from the statutes on the back of the title telling us in particular that the object of the company was "the exploitation of all the placers in French Guiana in general, and more particularly at Placer Sursaut (...) commune of Sinnamary and Iracoubp , on the left bank of the Tigre creek (...) The purpose of the company was to exploit, using gold washer dredgers of a particular system, the auriferous creeks of French Guiana which , because of their high water flow or even their low precious metal content, had remained untouched by any exploitation, or had been exploited only by rudimentary and insufficient means for a complete capture of the metal.

The head office was located in Paris, place Vendôme, n°8.
