Bond of 25 francs to bearer issued in Paris in 1930.

Left-wing then communist newspaper from 1920, "L'Humanité" is founded in 1907 by Jean Jaurès after having tried to buy La Petite République.

In 1914, Jean Jaurès was assassinated and the First World War began. Pierre Renaudel succeeds Jaurès. He will be replaced by Marcel Cachin in 1918.
