ČKD is a Czech company founded in 1927, born from the merger of the Czech-Moravian Mechanical Workshops with the factory of Emil Kolben in 1921, then with the company of Čeněk Daněk in 1927.

During the interwar period and the Second World War, it manufactured armored vehicles for the German army (it was then called BMM for Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik AG).

After 1945, the company was nationalized and took the name of its main subsidiary Tatra.

In bankruptcy, Siemens bought it in the 2000s.

It currently manufactures trams for Europe.

Rare certificate richly illustrated with a railroad, an automobile, a tank.
