In 1896, the Chaudfontaine Casino and Club Company took over the rental of the Kursaal, a former performance hall and pleasure garden made available by the French-speaking Belgian municipality of Chaudfontaine, located in the Walloon Region in the province of Liege. The new company obtains a gaming concession. The building was rebuilt in 1938 to open in 1945 a casino near thermal springs. This casino is stll in operation.
